Beyond Insight.
Towards Lasting Change
Lasting transformation doesn’t come from analysing more. It comes from consistently practising new ways of thinking, feeling and being, until they become part of who we are.
Clotilde Szapiro — Online Private Practice / French and English
French-trained Psychologist, Psychotherapist & Transformational Coach with over 20 years of experience
Helping thoughtful, self-reflective individuals HEAL chronic stress, physical & emotional suffering through an integrative psychological approach grounded in neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and consciousness-informed transformation.
When the Mind and Body Have Been Carrying Too much for Too Long
Many people live for years in a state of internal tension without fully realising how deeply it has shaped them. Chronic stress, emotional suppression, anxiety, hyper-vigilance, exhaustion, and psychosomatic symptoms gradually become woven into daily life until suffering begins to feel normal.
The people I work with are thoughtful, intelligent, and highly self-aware. They may understand themselves remarkably well and have already explored therapy, personal development or various healing approaches. Yet understanding alone has not created the depth of change they are looking for.
Because healing is rarely only cognitive.
Emotional experiences, nervous system states, unconscious patterns, and life history all leave an imprint on both the psyche and the body. When these dimensions remain disconnected, symptoms may persist even when insight is present.
Meaningful transformation requires more than intellectual awareness alone. It involves restoring ALIGNMENT between Beliefs, Thoughts, Behaviour, and the deeper internal patterns that shape the way we live, feel, and inhabit ourselves.
Change becomes possible when we begin listening to the whole system rather than isolated parts.
You May Feel Drawn to This Work If…
You may find yourself here if, despite appearing functional on the outside, you carry a persistent sense of emotional exhaustion, worry or disconnection from yourself.
Perhaps you have spent years holding stress internally, over-adapting to the needs of others, or functioning through chronic anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or nervous system fatigue. You may already understand yourself intellectually and yet still feel caught in emotional or physical patterns that do not fully resolve.
This work tends to resonate with people who are curious, open-minded, and willing to engage actively in their own transformation. They are interested in the deeper connections between mind, brain, body, emotional healing and consciousness, and are open to perspectives that extend beyond conventional psychological frameworks — from neuroscience and meditation to emerging ideas about consciousness and the nature of reality.
They are not simply looking for a space to revisit the same difficulties week after week, but for a thoughtful and experiential process that invites new perspectives, new possibilities, and MEANINGFUL CHANGE. At the same time, they value an approach that remains grounded, discerning and informed by more than twenty years of clinical experience.
This work is for those seeking more than symptom relief or greater self-understanding. It’s designed for those who are ready to create a change that can be felt, embodied, and sustained in everyday life.
A Space for Depth, Safety, and Transformation
What makes my work distinct is the way it has evolved beyond talking therapy alone. While remaining deeply rooted in psychological understanding, I integrate guided meditation, the understanding of the brain and nervous system, and approaches that support change, not only at the level of insight, but through EXPERIENCE, INTEGRATION AND EMBODIEMENT.
The therapeutic relationship is an essential part of this process. Within a space of trust, curiosity, and psychological safety, we can begin to explore the patterns, emotions, and deeper dynamics that shape how you experience yourself, your relationships, and your life.
My role is not to provide ready-made answers, but to help you understand what is happening beneath the surface and create the conditions for meaningful, lasting change to emerge.
This work is practical, reflective, and deeply human. It honours both the psychological complexity of suffering and the innate capacity for change, integration, and healing.
Working Together
-
I offer individual therapeutic work for people seeking a deeper and more integrative approach to emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and mind-body transformation.
I work with a limited number of individuals in order to preserve the depth, presence, and quality of the therapeutic process.
-
The work begins with a complimentary introductory conversation, offering a space to explore what brings you here, the nature of the work, and whether working together feels appropriate and aligned.
-
A bespoke, in-depth experience designed to offer profound insight, renewed perspective, and practical tools for meaningful change.
-
A focused, time-limited therapeutic process for those wishing to explore a specific issue, transition, or recurring pattern in greater depth.
Four extended 90-minute sessions over two months create the space to move beyond immediate concerns and engage more deeply with the emotional, psychological, and embodied dynamics underlying the experience.
-
A 6-month personalised therapeutic journey beginning with an in-depth 90-minute initial session, followed by weekly 45-minute sessions, and a final follow-up session
Between sessions, I offer a guided reflection journal that supports deeper integration, helping you bring awareness, insight, and lasting change into your everyday life.
About
I trained in clinical psychology in France over twenty years ago, and the way I work today is not the way I worked when I first began.
Years of sitting with people, listening to their stories and witnessing both what creates change — and what sometimes keeps us circling the same patterns — have gradually expanded the way I understand the therapeutic process.
Over time, my own curiosity led me beyond the boundaries of traditional psychology, towards neuroscience, meditation, the mind-body connection, and a deeper exploration of consciousness and human potential.
Today, I bring these different worlds together in my work — grounded in psychological and therapeutic experience, while remaining open to exploring what we do not yet fully understand.
